Closed two sections this week

Phew!

And at the risk of sounding whiny, that’s all I’ll say about that. You can check out the work of “my” very talented writers online at Express’s new Web site, expressnightout.com. Getting Ahead, my baby, is here and I imagine the other section will be available this Friday when it sees print. Marvel at my cheesy headlines! I think “A Passion for Fashion” might be the stinker of this month, but I really dug the deck on the story about the voice actor, which of course didn’t make it online (the deck, not the story). Oh well.

The Outer Banks beckon this weekend. I won’t be liveblogging from the sand, of course, but maybe an essay or two will come of our adventures.
